Bring Photos of your koi to our May Club Meeting! We will be voting on the NWKGC Club entrees into the 2022 PNKCA Koi of the Year Contest. You can bring pictures of 2 koi this year as well. All the details are below!
Requirements:
- Koi must belong to a PNKCA affiliated club hobbyist (or past dealer who has been out of business for at least one year and is now a PNKCA club member hobbyist). Koi must be “alive at time of entry” and reside in the hobbyist pond, within the geographic location of the Pacific
- The winner will be selected by the attendees at the 2022 PNKCA
- Photo submitted (to represent your club) must be of the actual koi being entered, and taken within the last No Computer Photo Enhancement of the fish is allowed (modification of the background is acceptable).
- New: There will be 2 winners, consisting of 1 regular koi and 1
- New: Clubs may enter up to two koi photos into the competition (e.g., 2 regular koi or 2 Longfin or 1 regular koi and 1 Longfin).
- New: Gosankes (fully scaled Kohaku, Sanke, or Showa) will not be allowed in this However, Gin Rin and Doitsu Gosanke varieties are permitted.
